Happy Halloween!

BOO 2 U!

Family is almost 100% well.  Thankfully.

Stayed up till about 2:30 am sewing Abby's pinafore for her Laura Ingalls dress.  Gotta have the pinafore.

Up early to braid Laura and Mary's hair.  Cash is going to be Jack (thats their dog :). LOL...it was either that or dress him as baby Carrie.

Feels good to share...have a little mindless computer time while baby boy is napping :)  I was organizing my photos/projects in my computer and came across these that I did a while back for Fiskars/QVC using those beautiful decorative BORDER PUNCHES!

Thats some lovely Heidi Grace paper and ribbon. :)

Trying to be positive...

Well, its going into week two of stomach virus hell at our house.  So far, this is definitely the worst drawback to having more children (then say, for example one :)--that when you get a bug, it gets passed to everyone and then STARTS OVER!!!  AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!  Poor Abby is having a really rough day.  I won't go into the gory details. Even Scott is home today...and he NEVER misses work.  Still trying to get Cash to take his normal intake of milk/liquid.  He's trying.  I'm trying to be positive *smile* -- cause Lord knows that if a stomach flu is the worst of our problems, I'd say we're doing pretty good here.

Okay--so I'll share a picture of Cash now, okay?

That's the cute PUMPKIN HEAD hat that Andrea made for me a while back.  She is SO good, we've gotten so many compliments on the hat.

Goodness.  Halloween is tomorrow.  Thankfully, my Mom offered to hem the girls dresses for me today.  I got everything done on them except that.  If "Laura" (Abby) is better by tomorrow, her dress should be ready!

I hope you all are enjoying fall.  Even though I haven't had time to really do anything to the house here yet, just being able to enjoy the sunsets from our place is good enough.  They've been just gorgeous this last week.

I've been working a lot...having fun with Fiskars stuff.  I can't share the projects for a bit, but I will as soon as I can.  Speaking of inspiration--you've got to check out the trees over at Stacey's blog.  TOO CUTE!!

Did you know that Scrap A Faire starts FRIDAY??Teacher_button2

Yep, gotta check that out!  Oh, I can't wait to go "sit in" on some classes!  Last year, they just blew me away.  Talk about a good time.  Registration is still open...so don't miss out.  I'm teaching All About Baby, its a baby's first year album.  Make it for your baby or for a gift!  Its a fun project!

Okay...gotta go for now.  Nap time (for Cash) is over :)

Its raining...its pouring!

I've been a little busy.

Cash is nine months now...nuff said.

I don't think I quite had a grasp on just how much attention a nine month old baby requires.  Between trying to get settled into the new house, lots of assignments to get out, and the regular old stuff of life--oh my.  I'm just treading water!!  Mr. Baby Boy likes his freedom--that pretty much requires my constant attention.  I can get away with putting him in the playpen in short spells.  But its so wonderful...I really am enjoying him so much.  He is so sweet.  He loves Mama.  He says Mama and Bye Bye (with the cutest wave ever, of course).  He'll be walking within the next month...Oh MY. :0

Sad news...little Abby Claire is under the weather.  Came home from school today with the sickies.  Puked all over my bedroom a bit ago.  Sigh...poor baby girl.  Hope it passes quickly and the other kiddos don't get it.

Gotta get started on Halloween costumes.  Oh goodness...its bad.  I am so behind.  The girls want to be Laura and Mary Ingalls.  I will have to enlist some help to get their costumes sewn by the 31st.  My Mom was so kind to come over today and help me out.  She kept an eye on Cash while I tried to get caught up.  Wouldn't it be so nice to have a personal assistant?  Keep dreaming...

Well, I better wrap this up.  Just wanted to say Hellooooooo and Happy Fall to y'all!

God Bless. --jw

we're in...

Whew.  We're here.

I'm loving it more everyday.  My favorite thing about the place...I can't decide if its all the closets or the outside.  Its just so peaceful.  And we're only 1.5 miles from Scott's shop, maybe like 2.5 miles from schools.  Our other house was about the same distance, just west and we're east now. I love the backyard --all the established bushes and huge trees right in the back yard.  This area needs a bit of taming--but Its shaded all day long!

The long drive is perfect for bike riding!!

Last week I was just trying to get everything situated and sorted through.  Its still not totally done, but for the most part--its there.  The girls are loving running around outside and it feels good not to have to worry about a busy street.  Ahhh.  Cash likes crawling around on the carpet rather than the laminate/wood stuff we had.  Its much softer...sometimes he just flops and you can tell he just thinks it feels much better.  Lots to take care of here...but its so worth it.  The girls think having a mail box is the coolest...

Haven't really been able to work in my office till today.  I got it sorted out Friday.  Got a new shelf and organized all my Fiskars product.  OOhh! It was so fun!

Today...it rained.   Cash took a three hour nap and I worked the whole time.  For a fleeting moment, I dreamed about running into my room and flopping on my bed for a rainy day nap...but I fought the urge.  Before I knew it--it was 3 o'clock, time to get the girls!  Time flies, doesn't it.

Gotta share this picture--

Thanks for all the well wishes and kind emails.  Glad to be "back" into the groove.  Desk is covered up again...its all good.

Till next blog ;)
