I'm brewing a cup of coffee and listening to my favorite Christmas tunes this morning as I make my to do list for the day...lots of sewing happening!
I just wanted to post an update about how things are going here...first of all I need to say THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! for all of you who have purchased items and inquired about items from the WS. As Christmas draws nearer, I know you have last minutes gifts to buy and I do have a few unique items available still, but use your best judgment on shipping times. We know the USPS has lots of deliveries this time of year.
I've been steady creating new things, filling orders for popular items, fulfilling a few custom orders, doing a little scrapbooking here and there for BHG and still have time to think, breathe and keep the family happy. It's such a good thing! I feel like my "whim" of creating this little shoppe was a step in the right direction!
So here's what's going on here in this crazy brain of mine and blooming up in the shoppe and home...

Well, I'm all out of canvases now! Having a lot of fun painting for the past few days both custom orders and handmade holiday gifts. I guess I can thank my sister law (don't tell her ;) for getting me in the groove when she commissioned that little hog a few days ago! I have a couple for sale (ready to ship) I wanted to share. When they are gone...I will be taking special orders and will set up a PAYPAL add to cart button here on the site for that in the next few days. For now, this is what I have. I will charge actual USPS shipping if you purchase and aren't local to me. If you want one of these... just email me...I will update when they are sold!
Lil' Hog $40 (plus actual shipping). Super cute and on the run with just the right amount of fierceness...this little hog is painted in razorback red (acrylics) on a light gray dotted background. This 16 x 20 canvas is ready to be personalized for the receiver/purchaser! I'll put whatever you want (Jack's Room, Lil Hog Fan, whatever) so long as it fits in the space above the hog. Whooooo Pig Soooeey!!! The canvas is finished with a mat sealer and painted around the wrapped edges so you can hang as is or frame. If you're local, we'll talk and make arrangements for delivery.

Prima Ballerina $35 Look like anyone you know? This little dancer is prancing in a fairytale world with her castle peeking just over the hillside. She's got sweet red hair (but I will be customizing special orders with your choice of hair color and even names if you prefer) and the flag on her castle can be personalized with your little dancer's initial. The 11 x 14 canvas is finished with a mat sealer and painted around the wrapped edges so you can hang as is or frame.
Also working on a new trio for the preteen age...I'll be posting that one later. Here's a peek under the ballerina of a custom set I'm doing...it will be TOTALLY BLINGED out!
