Over the last several months I have debated in my mind whether or not to "close up shop?"-- with my full time load at school and working part time now, you might imagine, I don't have a lot of time to play with my whimsies. Three different little blessings happened just this week that have inspired me to carry on!
As I sat during my lunch hour today between classes, I sewed a few roses to fill some orders and make a repair for my sister in law. I thought about all the time that I have spent creating my little shop and how it might serve as a bit of inspiration for someone else in some small way? I couldn't bear the thought of taking this blog down. Too much of my heart is here.
Something that I had planned on doing for the last year is to add some printable designs to the shoppe...printable invitations, party designs, stationery, my Cut&Create designs. Just recently, I decided that I would spend some time at least every few days designing for this purpose. I have several bits of art created and I'm excited to share. The Whimsy Shoppe will soon be home to more creative goodness!
