My List...

Well, to tell you the truth...I haven't yet made the yo-yos I mentioned in my to-do list a few weeks ago.  I have, however, cleaned my sb room several times...but its already in bad shape again!  So better try again!

I'm finishing class projects for Scrap Happy's in Tulsa today.  I did the layout for the Inspired By: Clear Things class, and I LOVE IT!   I've got to go pick up pictures for it and I'll post a sneak peek!

I happened on to the new Martha Stewart line at M's yesterday.  Oh MY GOSH.  Love those HUGE scrapbooks.  Check it out if you get a chance.  Very classy stuff.

Working on class kits today and CLEANING.  The house is truly wrecked.

If you're local to me and interested in classes, I may have a new venue.  I spoke with LouEllen at Hobby Lobby when I was in there yesterday and she mentioned me doing classes--which of course I jumped on!  It would be so great to have a local place to offer workshops.  So, I'll keep you posted!  YAY!

So this is my new clock from my scrap room...look familiar?  I created some new designs at Cafe' Press using the Fanci-ful artwork!  I love this clock...needs some bling though!  Check out the new stuff!  Take care--jw

A little Inspiration...

Well, I had to tape a little thing today for HSN.  There's a possibility they will be featuring my Fanciful collection as a kit in May or June.  So, that was interesting!  Me in my scrap-room, talking to my camera like it cares about scrapbooking!  LOL!  I'm thinking I may just retire from scrapbooking and head to Hollywood!  J/K

Something else I had so much fun with last night...I stayed up playing with this little mini book and then I worked on taxes till 4am.  Yes, I know I'm a nut.

This is the souped up version of a project I'm teaching in the Trinketz class in Edmond, Ok next month.  I LOVE this little book.  Perfect gift for Mom's Day.  If you can't make it to class, I may have kits left.  So get in touch with me if you're interested!

Well, I'm glad to say that I've crossed two things off my creative to do list this week!  I got this photo...

Okay, I'm feeling productive!  Now I better go do some laundry and start on my scrap room!

Creative To do list:

Feeling inspired...so before I forget, I wanted to make a list of creative things to do this week:

1. Make some yo-yo's.
2. Take a fun picture of some precious new tea cups I got at the antique store...I want to frame them.
3. Clean my scrap room and post a picture to prove I did :)
4. Sew something...yesterday Sara & I made her an apron, need to make Abby one now.
5. Hammer out classes for Scrap Happy's.

Okay...this is a manageable list, right?  We'll see how I do at checking it off!

Happy Easter

Just wanted to post a quick Happy Easter to You!  Here's a special picture of us after church today.  I really love it because we don't get our pictures all together very often!  It was a blessed and wonderful day...we spent it with our family.  Of course we kicked it off last night coloring eggs and watching the Ten Commandments with the Ogilvies (our good friends).  Then church this morning (Sara took her first communion since she was baptized last week), lunch with Jenny and Tim and supper this evening with my family.  We are such a blessed family.  Here's a picture of all NINE grandkids on my side of the family.  Hope your Easter was special!

 

Today, I'm inspired...

I am just itching to finish up some class projects I've got to get to Just4Keeps.  I am waiting on a couple of things I need from Junkitz.  One of those is my new Chipboardz Alphabets.  These are one of my favorite new things!!  The box is a treat in itself!  I will be teaching a very fun project with these in Edmond, OK on May 5th at Just4Keeps--so check it out!  Lots of fun at that very cool store!

In the meantime...I'm developing an idea that has been percolating in my cluttered brain.  Hmmm.  I want to do something big...share, teach, create, chat.  Its all a part of my Inspired By: theme.  I have so many ideas and so little time.  I enjoy teaching so much, but traveling is hard now.  So, I'm working on a solution.  Any thoughts? 

So if you're wondering about Inspired By: --its a work in progress.  A series of workshops I'm creating.  You know...honestly, those three hour classes aren't for me.  The Inspired By: classes are all about lots of ideas, inspiration, possibilities and are much more manageable and less overwhelming as far as projects are concerned.  I think its something you will like...if you're a class-goer that is.  So look for more on these soon.

I'll probably have to give this a test run here at home with some of my home-girls?  Maybe they will agree to participate in some market research??  :)
