This week has FLOWN!

Goodness, this week has flown by.  Been busy getting out some work and well, the kiddos--thats a given!  My girls are addicted to Disney channel--so I'm trying to limit their tv as much as possible.  There are so many other wonderful things we can do.  So yesterday...Sara made these--

She loves crafts!!  These were those little paper mache' (sp?) boxes she painted.  I LOVE her colors, pink, turquoise and orange!  CUTE!

Then she started this...she finished it today...love that color!  She was showing her button frame...too COOL!

Okay, tell me WHO CAN RESIST this face? He is now giving kisses and reaching for me when I reach for him to pick him up...isn't that so sweet!?

Another great class in Tulsa!

Saturday I woke up at 5:30 and set sail for Tulsa!  Which was not easy since Sara had been in a ball tournament the night before and we didn't get in bed till after midnight.  Friend Holly made the trip with me and we had such a nice time...girl talk, coffee, Pei Wei, a trip to the Apple Store  in the mall :)  It was all fun!

The Inspired By Scraps class moved along at such a nice pace and I really enjoyed all of the ladies so much!  Had several back from times past and met some new friends too!  (THANKS Y'ALL!! :)  I really enjoyed teaching these projects.

This is a peek at one of the layout projects.  I designed a printable sheet of doodles, titles and accents for this class (the YOU and the R and Family you see here are part).  And then there was the tag book--I can't wait to get photos in mine.  I really love it!

There's also a bonus project (a 12 x 12 layout) that is fun!  I have extra kits this time--so let me know if you'd like more info. 

In other news, Cash has THREE teeth now!!  Yup!  And he is sitting up!  Everything is just happening so fast...these past six months have absolutely flown by.  Can't believe he is a HALF. 

This weekend all the sb gurus are in Chicago for the big summer tradeshow- CHA.  Gosh, this is the first one I've missed in about four years I guess.  It kind of feels strange...not being in the middle of all the industry happenings.  But its also really nice not to have to make all those preparations for the family and worry about leaving/being gone.  Cash has only been with a sitter about three times, so I'm pretty hesitant about traveling any more.

Been busy trying to keep the house clean for showing/selling.  We have a couple of prospective buyers, so there's some hope.  I am just tired of being in limbo I suppose.  I so look forward to the possibility of the new home we would like to buy...with its big towering oaks and massive lawn!  Where the girls can run and scream and be loud and crazy.  We would have a place for Sara to play ball and practice batting.  The house has this long hallway that is tiled, I can just picture Cash in a year or so running up and down it on a little scooter to the room that we have picked out for him.  So many possibilites, such a great place to raise our family.  I just pray that it works out if its suppose to.

Oh- this post is getting LONG but I wanted to share some SNEAKS of some CLOUD 9 DESIGNS new product releases at CHA.  I did some samples for the Fiskars booth with their stuff.  Its a fun and whimsical look and I just adore all their cute chipboard accents --here's a countdown calendar I did on a clipboard:

Just had to share this picture from yesterday...Cash is SIX MONTHS now!  I took a lot of photos and this one is one of my favorites.  (gonna have something cool done with this one over at MPix) Dang he's sweet!!!  He's almost sitting up and he cut his first tooth a couple of days ago.  Here's another one I like...shows his personality so well--

So fun having a little boy.  He's getting really active already--I can only imagine whats in store for ME!!

Fiskars CHA Sneak Peek: NEW Texture Plates

Doing a few projects for Fiskars!  I love a good challenge.  Now, mind you, I don't do a lot of embossing, but I had LOTS of fun creating some pages and cards with Fiskars brand new Texture Plates being released at CHA.  Here's what I came up with:

Fall and Summer Texure Plates 

All the pp, stickers, rub-ons are Heidi Grace.  SO CUTE!  I love adding Versamark ink to the designs to really make the texture of the embossed designs POP!! tfl- jw :)

Gosh, its late...its early...whatever...most people are snoozing and I'm...well, I'm not.  Finishing up some assignments in the quiet of the night.  Love that silence...

Just thinking about some friends I miss tonight...CHA is coming and reminds me of good times we've had.  Yep...good times. 

We came into the age of technology and have real cable now.  My girls would be TOTAL couch potatoes and watch Disney channel ALL DAY LONG if they had their way.  I cannot stand that.  I don't watch a lot of tv...very little. But anyway, the girls are loving seeing Hanna Montana and Raven!  Their favorites...they vegged out all night last night watching all the Disney channel shows. 

Tomorrow, the girls are going to art camp at the library.  They both LOVE to draw...and do any kind of art.  I love it that the library offers programs for the kiddos.

Inspired by: Scraps!!

Well, I'm so excited I sent off my class samples for my Scraps Class at Scrap Happy's on the 21st!  I literally dug down in my scrapbox to create the projects for this class.  It was so much fun!  I love bit and pieces and creating fun things with bits and pieces!!  Gotta share the Tag Book we'll be making in the class:

There are seven pages to this book.  We won't be able to complete it all in the two hour workshop--but I always like to offer bonus designs in my classes...so there's plenty of inpsiration!

This fun little collection of tags is bound with ribbon and a stitched button.  Lots of texture, places to journal and scrappy ideas!!

If you're familiar with Keisha Campbell, you can tell where I got the inspiration for the butterfly.  If you haven't check out Keisha...YOU NEED TO!!  She ROCKS the scrapbook world...I have her link over to the left.  Something really fun about this class...I designed a 8 1/2 x 11 transparency full of designs (letters, swirls, etc..) we're using in the projects!!  I'm still hooked on transparencies...oooooopsss!!!  Can't help it.  The layout is titled Colorful You (you could always change that of course) and the bonus layout is somewhat school themed, but could go pretty general.  Here's a peek at Colorful You:

As usual, if you have any questions about the class or you're just interested in a kit--give me a holler.  I'm making more extras this time around since I've had quite a bit of interest in kits recently.  I can accept Pay Pal and checks.

Happy 4th (early)

Just had to wish everyone an (early) Happy 4th!!  Sara, Abby and I made shirts today with foam stamps --Junkitz/Teresa Collins' stripe, MM letters and Heidi's stars.  We found white shirts in need of something exciting and went to town.  The girls designed their own--they LOVED doing this.  They couldn't wait to wear their shirts to the fireworks show tonight!  It was such fun to do together...we can't wait to make some more!!  A great idea for all those foam stamps you've been hoarding!! 

I've got to go to WM and get Cash a onesie so we can make him a matching outfit too!  He missed out on the stamping fest--he was napping. 

We even stamped the girls faces--which they also LOVED.  They always BEG me to paint their faces!  CUTE!

Baby Love & PS Fun!

So this morning I was perusing --and I came upon THIS!  A simple tutorial to make these grungy frames like above on Cash's photo isn't he the cutest.  There are lots of cool PS tutorials on Jessica's blog...something new every Friday!  I love stuff like this!

Today, taking Cash to the Doctor and I've got to get back home and get some work done.  On a very GOOD note the house is CLEAN!!  We showed it a few times this weekend.  Feeling like I want this move to happen.  Still trying to just roll with it...knowing it will happen if its meant to.

I have some good news...here's a hint. Such a blessing--so excited!
