Well, I have been scrapbooking several pages this week, but I actually did today's page, well, TODAY!!! I decided to scrapbook ME! Since it's my birthday, and everything, I thought that might be a good challenge for all of you too! Lucky for me I even had my photographer (that would be Cash, 3) on hand to snap a picture today! LOL!
Here's today's page!
Only a one photo layout...sometimes, that's all you need to spark a memory--or a thousand memories.
Dare I? Reveal the "me" underneath it all? The make up, the happy face...sometimes, I think it's good to see and share a little reality. I could journal so much more on this page about life now...maybe I will and add it to a tag behind the berry cardstock.
Literally, another 30 minute page. Though I admit I probably took more time than that making the silk rosettes. These are a simple, no sew version that I fumbled together for this page. Here's a great FREE tutorial by one of my favorite creative people, Jennifer Paganelli! However, I didn't follow this tutorial in the least! LOL! By the time I found this tutorial, I had already developed my own type of rosette (the sewn version I use for my necklaces, which is much more sturdy, detailed and involved). It's as easy as you want to make it...for these, it was all about the hot glue gun.
These colors are so me right now...I'm loving yellow, magenta and grey.
This week I challenge you to scrapbook TODAY...whatever today is for you...just a regular day, an exciting day...just be real and journal your heart.
Remember sometimes just a bit of a stamp design can make a huge impact.
Great products I used are from:
LOVE LOVE LOVE Core'dinations Cardstock. The magenta is my favorite color. The colors are so rich and have such great texture...yummy! So lucky my lss loves it too!
Other papers are Basic Grey (yellow butterflies) , October Afternoon (grey dot) and Pebbles Inc. (orange).
If you want to play along link up your page on your blog...you can scraplift my layout or do your own thing! Be sure and add your page to the Flickr photo pool and tag it with week 5 so everyone can enjoy YOUR inspiration too! Happy Scrapbooking!
Happy Birthday! Many More Happy and Healthy! Grace xoxox

Happy I found your blog! I'm participating in LOAD (a layout a day) challenge this month, and now I can still do pretty much the same thing except every week (much easier than every day).
Here's my blog. I didn't know you did a weekly challenge so I'll check every Thursday from now on to see if I can do it.
