One of my favorite printables as of yet is my Berry Sweet cards...featuring some adorable strawberry and cherry art of mine. If you like these, you'll love this post over at Living Locurto! Lots MORE berry goodness by some talented folks! So cool to be featured along side some of my favorite talented creative peeps!
And thank you Miss Laurie for featuring mine!!!

I know, I know...a lot of what I do is pretty girly...as far as the printables go :) I'm working on it...but you see the printable goods are just sweet things that strike my fancy. Anyway, today-- I have a fun printable Birthday tag & notecard set that is totally gender neutral...I think? These note cards (similar to the Berry Cherry cards) are just cute little square notecards with coordinating tags...not really meant to be hidden in an envelope. Simply punch a hole in either and tie it on to your package!
I like to use a corner rounder punch for these cards too. The tags on today's printable are sized just under 2" so pull out your handy dandy 2" circle punch for perfect little tags! You could also use these fun little 2" circles for cupcake picks...just punch another solid circle for the back and attach to a pick/toothpick for a festive cupcake! If I was trapped on a desert island, I would simply HAVE to HAVE my 2" circle punch...though I am REALLY REALLY in need of a new one! I've just about worn this one out!
Download the FREE PDF file here:
Printable Happy birthday tag & card
NOTE: You'll have to set your printer settings to "BORDERLESS" in order to print these as is on an 8 1/2 x 11 sheet. These look FANTASTIC printed on bright white presentation paper like this Epson brand.
PLEASE carefully read the Terms of Use when using my printable designs :)
Hope you enjoy!
Happy Friday!

Well, folks, I'm just doing what I can! Inspired by some pics of the kids I took yesterday, I just had to scrap a page! Of course, it's digi, because my actual craft space is a toxic zone of paper and embellishment debris! This is simple, but using some super HAPPY stuff by Crystal Wilkerson (LOVE!) -- digi designer who is now producing her stuff with Echo Park. Very fun stuff!
A lot of these were freebie products from a digi blog hop Jessica Sprague hosted. Love a freebie! The kraft background paper was from a kit by Nicole Seitler (the creative genius, Sugarplum Paperie).
My
challenge for you this week:
Just do what you can...lay out some products you love, snap a new photo (or a hundred), make a page! Don't stress :)
If you want to
play
along link up
your page on your blog...you can scraplift my layout or do your own
thing!
Be sure and add your page to the Flickr photo pool so everyone can enjoy YOUR inspiration too!
Happy Scrapbooking!

Happy. ness.
My camera battery life (the spare already died ;( ) is about 25 shots...sad, but the 25 shots I snapped yesterday pretty much sum up life right now. Happy.
I've enjoyed these three more this summer than I can imagine...these images captures it perfectly. No fake smiles...(although, yes, I have plenty in and amongst those 25 shots) ...just happy.
I played with some of my PS actions to tweak the mood of the shots...they scream summer!
As of today, the girls are off to Aunt Jenny's for a couple of nights and it's just me and the boys.
Big.
Sigh.
{relief}
I'm sure they are as happy to be free of me as I am to hear...what? What is that? ...nothing. ;) Girls will be girls...and these two beauties are like any two preteen sisters about 2 1/2 years apart...BICKER FEST!!! Constant. Too much time together this summer? Though as much as they "think" they annoy each other every moment of the day...I hear the good times. Happy. Playing school. Staying up late just talking {giggling}. Laughing their heads off about pretty much nothing. Pedicures, Swimming, Dancing, singing, dress in weird concoctions of clothing, jewels, scarves and heels. They had the choice of spending time alone at Aunt Jenny's...and they chose to go together. They don't know what a bond they are building...but I do. I love my sister more than the world. It's the most special relationship I have. BFF. And I don't use that term loosely, trust me.
So it's just me and the big guy...
All 32 lbs of him. Super stud :)
It breaks my heart...that we only have a few weeks together and then life will change. I make no excuses for being pretty much behind on EVERYTHING. I want to soak up every moment of this fading summer.
Cash is so excited about the baby sitter...I hope he loves it. He's going tomorrow...for 7 hours. I have so much to get done --the compilation of weeks of work that I can't seem to find the time for. Sewing orders, photography, IU stuff, special project stuff, blog sneaks (IU) and tons more. I'm going to squeeze as much as possible of it into 7 hours. Grandma...do you have plans Friday!?
As I've mentioned before...I've spent the last (nearly) year sort of looking for myself. Looking for a niche to completely immerse myself rather than piddling and paddling about...though I have enjoyed experimenting, being creative in every way and the journey. Going back to school is that, for me...myself, found. But it's so much more too. I know I will love it. I've always wanted to spread my wings and take some art classes...and now I get to!!! I know it will be a series of aha moments. I feel like it will bring me full circle...creatively speaking. I know that it is something for me, yet it's so much more about my family than just selfish reasons. As scary as it is...there's a perfect calm about it too. God has given me the pieces to create myself...and that is what I will do. I saw this quote sometime back...how perfect...

...I have to confess to being terribly behind on my 52 week challenge. Man...I really hate that! I fell off the scrap wagon a couple of weeks ago. Did you notice? LOL! But I can't seem to find the time to do up new projects lately with the kids buzzing around, IU preps, multiple in progress projects and the other daily stuff of life. Darn it! It's like a diet gone awry...it just makes me feel like I failed! I will take some time and catch up...how about we revisit something today...in lieu of the challenge page? I actually don't think I have ever shared this on my blog...Cash's baby book.
This is from a class I did for Scrapbooks etc. a few years ago...well, three to be exact...because Mr. Chubby (he was never actually chubby--just camera tricks :) is now 3 and a half.
{Sidenote: be sure to check out the Quick Collage Basics series over at the iScrapuScrap blog at Scrapbooks etc. mag's site}
Guess what...this online class presentation is now available for free viewing! Yep...I was searching for a link to find out if the class was still available and I found this: LINK TO PRESENTATION
Now you won't have access to the printables and handouts for the class but maybe you can pick up some inspiration for your scrapbook pages and/or baby albums! You can pause the videos and watch over and over again...that is, till you get sick of my voice! LOL!
HINT: Are you new to scrapbooking??? Check out this video by one of my favorite editors, Melissa Inman...LINK TO VIDEO
Hope you likey :)

maybe you can relate?
1. My mind is still wrangling this college thing...feet are a little cold, but it feels so right. Just worried about kids, family and finances...aren't we all!!?!
2. Inspiration Unlimited. Excited, nervous, anxious...need to start ordering. Photograph sneak peeks, start writing instructions, order kitting supplies, getting everything organized on my excel sheet, price printing costs, set up files...I could go on :)
3. Hubby. Love, LOVE, Love him...he had a bad week last week. Thinking and praying about that for him.
4. Need to get away from this dumb computer and start laundry, tidy kitchen, get ready, decide on lunch and dinner menus, and get the kids all dressed and motivated for the day.
5. Praying for God's divine inspiration to entertain, amuse and (most importantly) TEACH while doing the previous two the kiddos at church TWICE a week (Sunday school and Wednesday night). Anybody got any good advice on where to pick up some fun (free) church teaching material?
6. Thinking back on the weekend. Really enjoyed the family-- mini stay-cation at home. Scott was home Friday...just relaxed (so happy he did for once). A little yard work, everything looking nice a kept outside...love my flowers.
7. Just bought the domain www.jannawilson.com in anticipation of being a "real" designer someday :)
8. School starts in a month. Life could change big time in a month. People do this all the time...what am I worried about?! Eating beans and cornbread eight nights a week is fine. LOL! We love beans!
9. Need to do some fun stuff with the kids this week...hmmmm...
10. I'm hungry. :) Time to get busy.

Printable Berry Cherry Cards
I really love designing these sweet bits...so fun! I have lots of art tid bits that I play with so pulling together a simple card or tag design is SO enjoyable for me! Today, I'm thinking of sweet cherries (in season now :) and yummy strawberries...and when working on another project for Executive Homemaker...thought I would use the berries and cherries for cards today!
These make cards that are approximately 4" square...something you would just punch a hole in and tie onto a treat or package. No fussing with an envelope! OR...you could just cut the image out and use as a tag!
